We're kicking off our newest employee spotlight series by shining a light on Ellen Sibincic, a key member of our support team who keeps things running smoothly!
What is your current role and what does a typical day look like for you?
"I support our inside and outside sales team by expediting and updating orders, and I also work closely with our vendors to get orders processed and shipped out as soon as possible. I really enjoy being the person who keeps things running smoothly for everyone," Ellen says. "When a team member or a vendor tells me that my support made their job easier, that’s the best feeling. I like being part of the engine that keeps everything running smoothly."

What project or accomplishment are you most proud of?
"I’m really proud of the collaboration I have with support teams from other branch locations. We work together to make sure Live Chat inquiries, RMAs, and Manufacturing Rep orders get entered and processed quickly and accurately. It’s a great feeling knowing we’re all helping each other keep things running smoothly."
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
“Always double-check your work. It’s a simple habit, but it’s saved me from countless mistakes and helped me build trust with my team."
Do you have any pets?
“Yes! I recently adopted a dog named Dexter from a Foster-To-Adopt rescue called Chi-Town Pitties.”

What was your first job?
"My first job was cashier at McDonalds and I moved on to shift supervisor throughout my high school years."
What are you most looking forward to next year?
"I’m excited (and a little nervous) to help my only child with the college journey this year. Between applications, essays, and decisions, I’m pretty sure I’ll earn a minor in stress management by the end!"
What’s one thing your coworkers might not know about you?
"One thing my coworkers might not know about me is that I ride my own motorcycle and love long-distance trips. My longest ride so far was to Nashville, TN, and I’m already planning the next one to the East Coast!"
